Atwood Labine HistorySince its beginning in 1978 our firm has played an active role in Thunder Bay's legal and community life. We are proud of our accomplishments as advisors to our individual and business clients, and as advocates in civil, family, environmental, and criminal matters - and equally proud of the contribution that our lawyers and staff have made and continue to make to our community. Members of our firm are involved in all areas of city life that are vital to our civic well-being, whether social, educational, cultural, sport, or health related. We believe in the city and region that we serve.
Our firm has always been located in the heart of the city's south core. Facing City Hall and the rich architectural heritage of St. Andrew's Church, our offices make up the northern side of the historic William MacGillivray Square, commemorating the fur-trade baron who lent his name to the old city of Fort William.
We believe in maintaining the best traditions of the legal profession, while staying on the cutting edge of developments in the law. The diversity of expertise in our firm contributes to its strength. We pride ourselves on never having lost sight of the fact that the practice of law is about helping actual people with actual problems, and we continue to work for our clients with the straightforward integrity that has been our hallmark for over thirty years.
